About Neon Gulf

YOUR BUSINESS. A FRESH SET OF EYES.

Neon Gulf LLC is a practical consulting firm built for small businesses that need clarity, momentum, and better decisions. We help business owners solve the problems that quietly slow growth: weak sales processes, inconsistent marketing, operational friction, unclear positioning, poor follow-through, and the thousand small inefficiencies that pile up until the business feels harder than it should.

Neon Gulf exists because most small businesses do not need another giant agency, another bloated strategy deck, or another consultant who disappears after making recommendations. They need someone who can look at the whole business, identify what is actually getting in the way, and help turn that insight into action.

Our work spans business development, sales, marketing, operations, process improvement, customer growth, and strategic problem-solving. Sometimes that means refining a sales process. Sometimes it means fixing how the business attracts customers. Sometimes it means untangling an internal process that has become a mess. And sometimes it means stepping into a problem nobody has quite figured out yet.

Neon Gulf is for owners and teams who are doing real work, wearing too many hats, and need an experienced outside perspective without the corporate theater.

The goal is simple: find the friction, fix what matters, and move the business forward.

I’m Jayson, the owner of Neon Gulf. I’ve spent my career in business development, sales, account management, marketing, and client strategy across large companies, growing businesses, and owner-led operations.

I started Neon Gulf because small business owners usually do not need more jargon, another bloated agency package, or someone trying to sell them the biggest possible solution. They need someone who can look at the whole business, spot what is getting in the way, and help them decide what is actually worth fixing.

My job is to bring an experienced outside perspective, ask the questions people inside the business may be too close to ask, and turn what I find into practical next steps. No theater. No giant consulting engagement unless you actually need one. Just clear thinking, useful work, and strategy for people with actual work to do.

I don’t use consultant-speak because most business owners do not need more words. They need clarity.

You will not hear me talk about “synergies,” “leveraging ecosystems,” “thought leadership,” “circle-backs,” or whatever phrase LinkedIn decided to beat to death this week.

If something is broken, I’ll tell you what looks broken. If something is working, I’ll tell you to leave it alone. If I think you are about to spend money on the wrong thing, I’ll say that too.

My advice is meant to be understood, acted on, and useful in the real world. Clear priorities. Specific next steps. Practical recommendations. No performance. No jargon. No pretending a simple problem needs a complicated solution.

I live on the Gulf Coast because this place has a character you cannot fake.

It is beautiful, messy, resilient, humid, colorful, complicated, and full of people who know how to keep moving when things do not go according to plan. Businesses here are built around relationships, reputation, hard work, and word of mouth. People remember who showed up, who did what they said they would do, and who treated them fairly.

That is also why I choose to do business here. The Gulf Coast is full of smart, capable owners who have built real companies without necessarily having a corporate strategy department, a giant marketing team, or endless resources. They know their customers. They know their trade. Sometimes they just need another set of experienced eyes to help them see what comes next.

Neon Gulf is rooted here because I am rooted here. I understand the pace, the people, and the reality of doing business along the Gulf. This is home, and I want to help more local businesses become stronger, easier to run, and better positioned for whatever comes next.
